I had a hard morning personally, so I am consciously trying to be objective and not completely negative about everything. I had my wisdom teeth out this week and couldn’t sing with out major pain in my jaw- I was taking a quarter dose of the pain meds this morning just so I could make it by. We also had two guest musicians, drums and bass. We narrowly averted a train wreck two times- one of the times the guitar player/vocal lead came in a beat and a half too early- thank you Jesus for sending us an amazing drummer. I about had a heart attack.
Overall the music was in tune, the chords were right, and we didn’t stop in the middle of a song, so I guess I can’t complain too much. I’m just glad this morning is over!

Train wrecks make the smooth weeks seem that much more smooth. You should have taken a whole pain pill and people would have just thought you were having a God moment…ha!
Stick with it. One thing I have learned over 20 years of doing this. I bet it wasn’t as bad as you as an artist perceived it to be. People are musically ignorant…most of your congregants probably didn’t even notice the mistake. FIDO. forget about it and drive on…of course if my guys make that kind of mistake, they have to run the gauntlet..hahahah
it’s good to have mornings where God has to be in complete control…sometimes i get worried if things go too well during rehearsal time…
You know, we do meet in a school.. running laps is a real possibility, LOL.
A win is a win….no matter how ugly. – Coach Cluck (my highschool basketball coach) It doesn’t mean you don’t watch the game film and learn from mistakes but you can’t be to negative about a W.
Hope you feel better. The best is yet to come for you! Great worship set as well!
Great set! I love inside out. I stand amazed is a good one too. Hope you feel better soon.
